2017

User Experience has highest priority for us

Since the beginning of the year, we have been continuously extending our newly created internal «User Experience» competence center. We have supplemented our skills on this field through the employment of an experienced UX/UI designer, and now we also master Information Architecture, User Research and Interaction Design. This way our customers benefit from a software that is even better tailored to their needs.

2016

First credit consulting tool with Finnova interface running in production

In close cooperation with the WIR Bank we design a credit and mortgage advisory solution based on the kw Advisory Suite framework. The result is a modern and extendable consulting solution for all credit types and customer segments. The focus was on digitizing and optimizing the consulting process for the front staff, that now also profits from having more capacity for professional customer service. Thanks to the integration with Finnova (EDBS/FIL) and other partner tools such as IAZI, Ratingview, etc., we were able to ensure the targeted consistency of the processes.

Growth requires relocation to Zurich Oerlikon

Our previous location in Wallisellen did not offer enough room for further growth. After sales and employees have more than doubled since 2012, we moved to our new and larger offices at Thurgauerstrasse 54 in Zurich-Oerlikon on May 1, 2016.

2015

Cerzified Avaloq Partner

We applied as Avaloq Software Exchange Partner with a reading and writing interface and were the first to receive certification. For this purpose we presented a showcase that consisted of the implementation of a banklet for mortgage extensions integrated into the Avaloq e-Banking.

2014

K&W Software AG increases its innovative power

We start our first research project funded by the Commission for Technology and Innovation (KTI). Together with ZHAW and AEK Bank we develop a «Visual Risk Profile» for investment advice. The project comprises a behavioural finance based on the visualization of risks in relation to the investment strategy, taking into consideration all the regulatory requirements.

K&W Software AG supports Avaloq with engineering power

We support the Avaloq engineering team by the further development of the Avaloq Front Platform.

2012

Focus on core competence

We at K&W Software AG focus entirely on the financial industry, for which we will continue to implement customized consulting, sales, data management and reporting solutions in the future. Ulrich Jacobi takes over the position of Chief Executive Officer and also becomes a partner.

The 1st of October the ERP product for SMEs will be outsourced to SmartAccount GmbH, which will be fully managed by Bruno Wenger in the future.

Reporting solutions for highly specialized asset managers

Due to new regulatory requirements (MiFID) we are asked to implement and launch our reporting solution at Mercer Private Markets (formerly SCM), Tellco and Kendris (formerly FinOps). This solution enables our customers to design and produce reports individually tailored to their reporting requirements.

2011

Enlargement of the management and new shareholders

In order to put the further growth on a solid foundation, the following executives will be incorporated in the board of management and at the same time become K&W Software AG shareholders: Stefan Heinzer, Head of Business Development, Yves Blättler, Head of Customer Services and Samuel Bernet, Head of Operations.

2008

Further development of our consulting tool

The success of «Raiffeisen Invest» motivates Raiffeisen Schweiz to commission consulting solutions for further topics. Subsequently, we are expanding the existing solution into a consulting workplace: «Raiffeisen Expert Tool». In addition to investment, pension and mortgage advices can also be performed. As part of an innovation project with Helvetia, we are also expanding Raiffeisen mortgage consulting with a module for the automatic preparation of suitable offers for real estate insurance.

2006

Further development of our fonds reporting solution

Due to a high demand, we are extending the reporting solution for funds with more flexibility for the designing of factsheets. In addition, we introduce the possibility of defining and integrating diagrams to the reports. Specifically for our clients Bank Vontobel and Swisscanto, we integrate the reporting solution to their content management system so that the created factsheets can be published directly on their website.

2004

Investment solution for Raiffeisen Switzerland

On request of Raiffeisen Schweiz we develop the consulting tool «Raiffeisen Invest», an investment solution based on the «kw Advisory Desk».

2002

Based on our «kw Advisory Suite» framework, we are launching an innovative investment consulting instrument for retail customers. The kw Advisory Desk makes the consultation more efficient and increases the comprehensibility of the offer for the end customer.

2000

Reporting solution for fund fact sheets

On request of Vontobel Asset Management we develop an innovative fund database and reporting solution. The application allows the fully automated production of fund fact sheets.

1998

Founding of K&W Software AG

Roland Käser and Bruno Wenger give the company its name. They bundle their many years of professional experience in the financial sector into a new competence centre for software engineering – K&W Software AG.
